Microsoft School status means that our school is recognised for its forward-thinking use of technology in education, providing our pupils and teachers with access to the latest tools and resources, such as Office 365, Teams, and various interactive learning platforms. This ensures that our pupils develop the digital skills needed to thrive in today’s world. We’re not just integrating technology into the classroom—we’re transforming learning!
As part of this achievement, we are especially proud to congratulate five of our staff members who have been recognised as Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts (MIEEs)!
Their recognition as MIEEs reflects their commitment to developing modern, digital teaching practices that inspire creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Their innovation, leadership, and commitment to professional growth have not only benefited their classrooms but the entire school community.
Mrs Blithe said of this initiative “This project has been two years in the making. We were originally award incubator status in 2023 an this year, alongside the implementation of our digital strategy, Microsoft have recognised all our efforts to improving the digital literacy of our pupils, ensuring they are effective, 21st century learners.”
Congratulations to Mr Knowles, Mrs Johnson, Mrs Berrington, Mrs Rowe and Mrs Blithe.
We are excited for the future and the endless possibilities that come with this new chapter as a Microsoft School. Together, we will continue to innovate and provide a world-class education for every pupil.
